About this tool
Use it for keyword opt-ins on a poster, a “text us for a quote” sign on a truck, a feedback prompt at a table, or a support line on packaging. The code is built on your device and nothing is uploaded.

How to do it
- Open the QR generator with the SMS tab selected.
- Enter the phone number that should receive the text. Include the country code (for example +1) if people may scan from abroad.
- Optionally type the message you want pre-filled, such as a keyword or “Hi, I'd like a quote”.
- Adjust error correction, size, and colors if you need to.
- Download PNG or SVG and place it where people will see it.
- Scan it yourself to confirm the right number and message appear.
Good to know
- The code uses the widely supported
SMSTO:number:messageformat. - Scanning never sends a message by itself; the person always sees the text and decides whether to send it. Normal carrier messaging rates apply to them.
- Keep pre-filled messages short — long messages make the code denser and harder to scan from a distance.
